Washing Your Urban T Shirts Properly

These days, urban tshirts have become essential in many people's closets. These shirts are commonly being worn by kids, teenagers, adults, and even by a few seniors. Many love these shirts because of their color and unique design. These can be worn for casual wear and even for special events. One thing you have to remember when dealing with these printed shirts is that they have to be washed in a certain way. Washing them carelessly would only damage the print. When washing clothes, owners should always sort and separate the whites from the colored items. These two should never be washed together unless you want to add more stain to your clothes. For washing shirts, it is most ideal to make use of cold water rather than lukewarm. Never use hot water for this would melt the paint used on the print. Use cold water whether you are going to hand wash or machine wash the shirts. When using a washing machine, set it to a gentle cycle.

Use gentle force when washing the shirts. Do not pull hard at it because this will only strain the fabric and print. You should never do anything that will agitate the shirt because this will definitely take a toll on the shirt. Agitation is going to damage the print, the color, and the size of your shirt.

It is advisable to air dry your printed shirts because this is safer for the prints. When air hanging, avoid hanging shirts using the neck hole because this will lead to stretching. What you can do is use the sleeves instead. If you prefer to machine dry it, make sure you use the cool setting.

To iron these shirts, find out first if the ink is plastisol or made from water based ink. Determine this first before you will start ironing the shirt. This is because plastisol is only going to melt when you apply extreme heat on it. Water based inks would be no problem since these can handle heat well.

With proper care, ones urban tshirts would be in good shape every time he is going to want to wear one of them. It is important to take note of these washing instructions. If you love your shirt, wash them properly. It is a shame to end up losing your shirt because of improper washing.
