In a small southern part of Africa, the country named Malawi lies. Learning about Malawi culture is interesting and everyone should do it. There is much richness there which is researching. It is considered one of the least developed countries in the world. It needs a lot of development, but already has a lot of wonderful things that comprise it.

Look online to learn more about all of the different aspects of this culture. On a political level, there are many problems with the country. Human trafficking and young children working jobs are two such examples. The government also seems corrupt as officials seem to be able to get away with things that they should not be able to.

Force is used by the police to prevent violence. They usually end up creating more violence with it, however. Citizens find these circumstances quite scary at times. Violations of human rights such as prisoners living in very vile conditions are among things that human rights activists work hard to prevent. Mobs develop often when the police are brutal.

The prison system there is not good as there is harsh treatment of prisoners. Some live under life-threatening conditions. The prisons are not safe for prisoners. There was actually a homosexual couple arrested for their sexual orientation. They were sentenced to fourteen years. They were released by a United Nations officer. The president of the country then repealed that law.

Even though it does seem as though as they are not very evolved, they have a lot of other wonderful things to offer that are quite special. They have a lot of hospitality to offer and are a friendly people. They engage in song, dance, and rituals. Some rituals are when young boys become men. There are many tribes in this country.

They all have different rituals that are specific to their beliefs. Researching these is quite interesting. You can look online and find many websites that cater to learning more about this country. There may also be books at the library or in your local bookstore. It is good to get out of your own culture and learn more about other parts of the world. This is a more rewarding way to live.

Staying stuck in one's own way of life is understandable, but after a while, it can lead to unhappiness because it is so sheltering. Reach out in any way that you can to learn more about this country's ways and all ways of life. The natives in this country make baskets and masks for various initiation rites and for daily life in general. They also make crafts which they sell on the street. This can be quite different than what you are used to in your home country.

Understanding Malawi culture is a very enriching experience. They mix maize flour with water to make a porridge and then add vegetables and beans to it. Their hospitality revolves around guests who are usually fed first and treated with utmost respect. If you travel to this wonderful country, enjoy how they treat you because they are a very special people.
